PLAY at the Luxor Hotel & Casino has everything from human darts to grown up bounce houses
A perfect place to be a kid again
Picture it: Vegas, the Cirque Du Soliel show we wanted to see was sold out. We had lost the shirts off our backs gambling and we had already sinned enough to where confession was going to take longer than mass itself. Amen.
We obviously needed something to do. The Facebook algorithm Gods shined upon us and showed us the way to PLAY Adult Playground. It was balls to the fun! (Literally…there were giant shiny balloon balls you could play with.) The keyword in the name is ADULT, no kids running around is great.
PLAY featured 15,000 sqaure feet of festivities with a bar. The games are over the top, life sized, and make you feel like a kid again. My favorites are Poker Parkour where you outrun giant poker chips on a balance beam and Bullseye Bounce where you jump on a trampoline toward a bullseye becoming a human dart. I was pretty good at Poker Parkour, what can I say I’m a ninja. Admittedly, I was not so great at being a human dart.
There were more cerebral games as well, still larger than any games you see elsewhere. Was I good at the games where it took a bit more intelligence? Well, let’s say somewhere in between parkour and dart, although the drinks may have had something to do with with it. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.
There’s a million entertainment options in Vegas, but I recommend putting this one up there on your list.Your PLAY stories and videos also don’t have to stay in Vegas. There’s also a PLAY location in Nashville. PLAY isn’t affiliated with Newdie Mag, I just had a blast there.
