The LGBTLOL Queer Comedy Festival
Kicking off Pride month in New Orleans is a festival that’s really needed this year. A festival that will make you laugh! (Need a laugh right now? Check out our Dad Joke Trivia)
Back for it’s fourth year, LGBTLOL is the nation’s premier queer comedy festival, celebrating inclusivity, intersectionality, and representation through stand-up comedy. The festival kicks off Pride Month and serves as both a celebration and a form of resistance through laughter.
Headliners of the comedy festival are Corey O’Brien (New York, NY), Paris Sashay (New York, NY), Gabbie Watts (Atlanta, GA), other performers include Moisés Araguaney, Janan Araujo-Siam, Ricci Armani and some New Orleans talent like, Jeff D, Rittany Bancroft, Jade Bronte, Laveau Contraire, and many other local favorites.
Not only will you laugh your 🍑 off but you’ll also be supporting local non profits by attending, like the Covenant House. You’ll also be able to explore the most unique city in the country while visiting. Events take place at multiple venues throughout New Orleans, with main performances at The Howlin Wolf, Urban South Brewery, Oz, and Sports Drink Comedy Club.
The festival takes place from May 29th – June 1st and you can get tickets and more information at www.lgbtlol.com and follow @queercomedyfest on Instagram.
