Blueberry Pie So Easy It Should Be Called Yo’ Momma

St John Karp
It’s a berry easy pie. I promise

The biggest proof that America has gone astray is the fact they picked the wrong pie. The whole “motherhood and apple pie” thing is bogus, unhinged, exploded. I’ve never heard anyone go, “APPLE PIE! Well tie me naked to the underbelly of a pig and call me Harold, I’ll take ten slices.” The truth is no-one gives a stuff about apple pie. It’s the fourth Indiana Jones movie; that extra Marx brother no-one can quite remember; Jayden Smith. But people absolutely lose their shit over cherry, blueberry, pecan, or rhubarb.

Candy Nipple Tassles: A review by comedians

Comedians Zach Teague and Maggie Crane are back this week to review candy nipple tassles. They moved a little further up the body from the edible underwear they reviewed last week in case you missed it. Will they like the nipple tassles better than the gummy undies? Will they get sick from all the sugar? Why are they so obsessed with edible body wear? You’ll have to watch to find out! Continue reading “Candy Nipple Tassles: A review by comedians”

“This is humbling”: A comedic review of edible underwear

It’s been two weeks since the last episode of Cooking with Comedians by Newdie Mag, so I guess you’re expecting another episode right now. Surprise!

You can have a brief moment of depression knowing it’s over before you get s#!t faced and ring in the New Year! Continue reading ““This is humbling”: A comedic review of edible underwear”

Bell Bottoms: Still Out | Stuffed Bell Peppers: Back in

A healthy twist on an old classic
I’m stuffed!

This is an easy, delicious, and healthy side. At first when I made this I thought, am I a 1950’s housewife?? I feel like bell stuffed peppers went out of style with green Jello molds filled to the brim with fruit.

When I tried my creation, I understood the obsession with these colorful flavor bowls. I said pass me the smokes and paint me with lead the 50’s are back!

Two unique “Spaghetti Cake” recipes

Spaghetti cake
Feed your kids spaghetti cake, as long as you say “cake” they’ll love it

“Lasagna is just spaghetti flavored cake”

Not only does this ring true, but I, as well as picky kids love both spaghetti and cake. If my mom would have said this to me as a kid I would have eaten so much more lasagna!

As great as lasagna is, sometimes it can seem a bit…old fashioned. At Newdie Mag we love to shake things up a bit, so here are two recipes that puts traditional, old fashioned “Spaghetti cake” to shame! Continue reading “Two unique “Spaghetti Cake” recipes”

Boba Tea with…Cheese? Try it!

Drink at a 45 degree angle
Sounds Cheesy

Taiwan has a new trend that the west coast is embracing, and brace yourself: it’s going to sound super weird. But try it, I implore you foodie nerds. It’s breathtaking and has all the makings of a masterpiece.

If you’ve tried boba or bubble tea, you’re familiar with the sweet tea base that is made “bubbly” with tapioca pearls at the bottom of the cup, the top sealed shut with plastic and an oversized straw with a point as the spear to access the delicious combination. Food for your face | Organic body scrub home recipes

A coffee based face scrub can exfoliate and energize
Put some coffee on that mug

Toddlers: Cute. Rambunctious. Fun loving. Get food everywhere.

We should all strive to be a bit more like toddlers, especially in the “get food everywhere” arena. Items that we generally associate with putting in our bodies can be a great natural way to nourish the outside of our bodies (I’m talking about food here, not anything else…this isn’t that kind of nudie mag).
